I am starting in to my beginner year of tall school, as well as we unequivocally wish to take the lovable trek this year. It has to be stout though, given we am guessing which tall propagandize is starting to move some-more work. Also, given we am receiving all honors classes, which meas even MORE work. So we would need the trek which would fit all of that. So, no totes or follower bags. Also, we wish something which we can find in stores, no online ordering.
Wow, I’m in the same exact situation as you
But I know that most people would want to carry around a tote for just your basic everyday regular use in school when you don’t want to carry around a backpack everywhere you go, so I just got a tote that I would carry to my classes and a backpack to take the stuff that I would need home and back to school.
I’m thinking about getting the Jansport Big Student backpack since it is sturdy and it would most definitely fit everything that I would need since I’m taking all honors as well. But I’m wondering if it would be too big for me but I don’t think it will be.
Also a tote just for your basic needs when you don’t feel like carrying around a backpack everywhere you go, because I surely don’t feel like doing that. Just a simple tote, nothing too big or too small. Just something that will allow you to carry the stuff that you don’t feel like carrying.
I’ve seen some cute ones at Target
i would tell u to use a jansport or dickies backpack they are in stores and they can be SUPER cute. i am going to be a sophmore in school and i have learned a bit. that is the best option.
If you have an Urban Outfitters in your area, they sell lots of backpacks. Here are a few…

They also have lots of backpacks at Kohl’s and Target. If you get one there, I would just get a solid colored backpack. Don’t get one with plaid print or butterflies. haha. You’ll be able to use a solid-colored one (especially black) forever ^^
Hope this helps
I am sorry but most high school girls don’t wear backpacks, they wear totes and purses which I know you don’t want but trust me any cute backpack can hold the same amount of stuff as a tote bag. Honor’s classes are more work, but it’s not like you’ll have 3 extra textbooks just because you are in honors English instead of regular.
The smartest high schoolers I know (who are in honors, AP, and IB classes) use totes/messenger bags so if that is the only reason you don’t want them, think again!! Now, if you think totes are ugly, thats a different story.
Talk to someone who goes to the high school you will be attending, maybe an older sister or a friend of an older sister. Ask them what the norm is in your school, and what they would recommend. Cute can be completely different things to a girl from Oregon vs. a girl from Maine.
If you do still want the backpack, it doesn’t matter how cute it is. It goes on your back, into your locker, and to the bus (or car or walk or whatever you do). People aren’t going to see it, or care what it looks like. I mean, get your favorite color or something, but cute backpacks aren’t really an issue in high school.
