ohh! i sooo know what you mean. in middle school, i had the traditional back pack so i decided to switch it up. in 9th grade i wore a tote(i just finished the grade). BUT now i wear a messenger bag from American Eagle. i’m going to use it next year. it was only $15 !! it was on sale =] but i’m going to use one and decorate it with lots of cute pins if ya know what i mean. i lovvve it.
no not really. all i carry are my school supplies. maybe a camera, my ipod, cellphone and stuff.
I do not perfer backpacks anymore. I use Hollister bags or Abercrombie bags. They are really fashionable.

I like the back packs you can roll around on wheels or carry. Its great in the hallways and you don’t have to lug your stuff around.

The "cool" thing to do is carry a messenger bag, but it doesn’t matter because our school is banning backpacks next year. It makes me laugh, because they obviously are doing this for security reasons, but everyone says it’s because one of the old, mean teachers tripped on a backpack and got mad.
Everyone really sports Jansport backpacks down here in south florida. They just decorate and customize them to their own personality. I personally purchased the multilcolored jansport backpack that has bright vibrant colors.
Ah i use a normal, simple backpack (not too many pockets & stuff) Its light blue & .. has black straps? My backpacks cool cause ive got stuff written all over it (random stuff) & smiley faces (:
Messager bags are in where i live. BUT whats really in is bags (totes) from places live American Eagle, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch.also don’t use the same bag everyday switch it up once in a while

I graduated in 2006 but I dont think that many ppl carried backpacks. Most girls just had their purses and carried a few books. The guys carried there books too. Not sure if backpacks are in anymore. I know some people used to carry jansports, little ones, but im not sure
i keep my stuff in anything that looks cute in my high school if you like it you buy it also big bags are very cute but really bug bags just go over the limit (if it looks like something you could pack ten outfits in its too big)
at my high school no one really has back backs. but out of the kids i do see with them theres a lot of jansports. most of the guys just hold their books while some girls get some really big purses or tote bags. if you want to make yourself stand out don’t wear a lot of abercombie, hollister, or ae. every one wears that and it does not stand out or make you look any different then the rest of the school. trust me.
those little kid backbacks that come up all the way to the middle of your back ….. like pick your fave cartoon character and get that backpack

try pac sun, abercrombie, hollister, american eagle or sometimes thrift stores because i find cute bags there and sew colorful buttons and patches on them.

i hate backpacks. people nowadays are using like messenger bags or the bags you can get at hollister, abercrombie, old navy, etc. try one of those.
American Eagle bags are really popular in my school..and not just the preps are wearing them either!!!!!
